INTERVIEWS

William (Bill) Worfolk was born in 1893 in Stainforth, Yorkshire, into a family of boatbuilders. His parents, Walter and Lily, moved to King’s Lynn in 1899 to join relatives already here.
In 1978 he was interviewed by Campbell McMurray for the National Maritime Museum. This audio recording is from the original tapes, enhanced by Peter Kiely and Chris Ward for the King’s Lynn Worfolk Boat Trust.

Ken Hill 1934 – 2024.

Ken Hill was one of our earliest volunteers, a generous supporter and he was the editor of the “Baden Powell newsletter”.
Very sadly, he passed away in September 2024.
Ken had a very full life and in celebration of that, you can see a video and listen to audio about his life and his 14 months in Antarctica.

British Antarctic Survey interview with Ken recorded in 2010 (two parts).
