Most of our trips are from the King’s Lynn pontoon, along the lovely riverfront buildings and through open countryside towards the river mouth where we hope to see the seals and other wildlife.  The round trip takes about an hour and a half.  Or, if you are a small party of up to seven, we can customise the journey to vary the time taken or the distance traveled.

This video shows a speeded up version of what you can expect to see.

We also may be able to co-ordinate a trip for your party preceded or followed by a walking tour around King’s Lynn by the King’s Lynn Town Guides.

BOOKING.
Book the seats required using the form below.

We welcome the challenge of including disabled people – talk to us about it.

SAFETY
A confirmation email will be sent, which includes safety advice.  Passengers remain seated in the hold unless invited ‘topside’ by a crew member.
Passengers must be at least five years old and should wear flat shoes.  Warm clothing is recommended.

SAILING TIMES
We can only sail when the tide is high, so check tide times here.  The weather can also be unsuitable.  So leave a phone number (preferably mobile) so we can contact you if a trip needs to be cancelled.
COSTS
In 2019, we had to pay over £16 for each passenger just to cover insurance and Trust liabilities – even before fuel, running repairs, paint and rigging maintenance.  Yet, as a Trust run entirely by volunteers, we rely on your support for the trips.  This year with ever increasing costs, we have to charge £20 per person per trip but further donations are more than welcome.
EMBARKATION
The trips usually leave from King’s Lynn’s South Quay pontoons, near Marriott’s Warehouse Restaurant, PE30 5GN Map here
